(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Following the opening of Etam’s first lingerie shop in the U.S. this summer in the Dadeland Mall in Miami, the giant lingerie chain is now running ads for sales positions in both New York and North Carolina.

The North Carolina job posting is for “Hôte(sse) de vente H/F,” a male or female “sales host” for the Etam brand, while in New York the company is seeks to fill the same position for a job at Undiz, described as the “sassy little sister of Etam,” a brand the firm launched in 2007.

The ads do not include exact addresses. The North Carolina posting lists the tiny barrier island community of Waves, 223 miles east of Raleigh. It seeks to fill the position between July 24 and August 31st.

The New York ad was posted July 11th and lists the town of Ghent, a small community about 123 miles north of Times Square.

In April 2022, Etam announced it had opened nine pop-up shops within Nordstrom stores in the U.S. and said that it planned to also open as many as two dozen additional free-standing U.S. stores over the following three years. The company claims it currently operates “more than 850 stores” in 50 countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia.

As it announced the Miami opening, Etam CEO Laurent Milchior declared the company looked “forward to bringing our French lingerie expertise to the U.S. market,” noting the Florida shop offers “connected fitting rooms and a mobile checkout system,” and features “pink and nude colors with brass finishings to create a feminine and intimate atmosphere.” — NM
