(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Hanky Panky Partnered with designer Prabal Gurung on a fall intimates collection.
“Inspired by the rare beauty of the rhododendron, the Hanky Panky x Prabal Gurung collection” is comprised of more than 30 pieces that “encourage women to reveal their innerwear as outerwear.”
Included are bras, bralettes, thongs, teddies, bodysuits, dresses and a limited-edition silk and lace blazer, in sizes XS-XL. Underwire bras are in sizes ranging from 32A to 36DD, and prices range from $32 to $600.
Hanky Panky has launched a promotional campaign, “Behind The Petals,” focusing on “the craftsmanship and behind-the-scenes making of the collection and encouraging the wearer to share their personal stories of what is unseen about themselves with the hashtag #behindthepetals.”
“Prabal Gurung is a designer known for inclusivity and unconditional advocacy for women, making him the perfect partner to help Hanky Panky continue empowering women with the confidence and freedom to be themselves in the intimates they wear,” declared Brenda Berger, Hanky Panky CEO. “We’re thrilled to partner with Prabal Gurung to design a limited-edition collection of intimates that gives visibility to the unseen and highlights each woman’s distinct way of blooming.”
The innerwear as outerwear looks were made with “luxurious fabrics, high-end details, and Hanky Panky’s iconic U.S. made lace,” and are “handcrafted in-house at the Hanky Panky atelier in New York City.”
Beginning Wednesday, September 27, the Hanky Panky x Prabal Gurung collection will be available on HankyPanky.com, in Hanky Panky’s Bleecker Street store and in select retailers nationwide, while supplies last.
