SwimShow 2010 Expects High Turnout

(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). In spite of economic woes, the Swimwear Association of Florida expects that their 27th annual SwimShow this July will be “their most successful show yet.”

Scheduled to take place once again at the Miami Beach Convention Center from July 18 to 21, 2009, organizers of SwimShow 2010 reported that 350 international and domestic exhibitors representing nearly 2,000 lines are expected to attend. Notable brands include DVF, Huit, Tibi, Milly Cabana, Vitamin A, Salinas, Lenny, Shoshanna, Manuel Canovas, Roidal, Gottex, Red Carter, Onda De Mar, Anna & Boy and Letarte, among others.

SwimShow 2010 has partnered with fashion and style forecaster WGSN to provide trend reports designed to give designers and buyers the inside scoop on the latest swimwear fashions.

Additionally, the show is teaming up with Miami Beach Convention Authority to offer negotiated rates at a variety of local hotels, complimentary transportation and an onsite concierge, among other perks in the South Beach area, which is a premier destination for nightlife, fine dining, resort beaches and more.

“More than ever, companies are looking for a competitive edge and SwimShow is the key to launching a successful 2010 season,” SwimShow organizer Judy Stein said in a statement. “Our number one priority is to ensure a beneficial, productive and enjoyable experience for all our attendees.”

Organized by the Swimwear Association of Florida, SwimShow caters to designer boutiques, resort shops, specialty shops, department stores, surf shops, mass merchants, and others. For further information, contact Cece Feinberg at (305) 532-3467, or
