(Filed Under Fashion News). As the newly appointed vice president of menswear at MAGIC International, Jon Kapelson has gained the responsibility of redesigning and expanding menswear at MAGIC, as well as overseeing national and international growth and expansion.

As a fourth generation menswear retailer, Kapelson claims this new position with vast experience under his belt. Along with his brothers, he owned and operated Kaps, a multi-million dollar better men’s specialty chain in Massachusetts, with stores in Andover, Burlington, Marblehead and Welllesley.

“His experience, understanding and perspective of the menswear business is second to none,” said Chris DeMoulin, MAGIC president and EVP of Advanstar’s Fashion Group. “Jon is widely known by vendors and retailers for his integrity, creativity and merchandising expertise. We are excited to see his impact at our August show.”

The next edition of MAGIC will be held in Las Vegas from August 31st through September 2nd.
