It looks like the deal between sock company Throx and UK-based distributor Shahid Ahmed reported in the May issue of BODY may have gone south.

According to founder & president of Throx, Edwin Heaven, RS Investments, represented by Shahid Ahmed, is not their UK distributor due to the fact that “the requisite of a signed agreement and a minimum order was never concluded” by Ahmed, who, according to Heaven, is also associated with the web design group Fixtech.

"Shahid Ahmed does not have any authorization to represent himself as a Throx distributor in the UK any claim by him that he is is a misrepresentation," Throx stated.

Heaven added that, at the present time, Ahmed can only represent Throx as a reseller online.

"We have not completely closed the door to commencing a relationship with Mr. Ahmed, but since we know little of his present intentions, we have opened UK distributor discussions with another promising participant," Throx concluded.

The company did not divulge the company that they are in discussions with.
