(Filed Under Fashion News). Joe Rubbinaccio, president of rhinestone-embellished accessories, apparel and logo company GDI, was searching for the perfect mannequin to display his products at tradeshows and in his catalog.

After careful research, he discovered Leg Avenue's Sexy Mannequin line, which the company introduced in winter 2009, and purchased one this April.

"I had a really hard time finding a mannequin that looks real, and has a feminine body," Rubbinaccio explained. "The Leg Avenue mannequin I purchased is perfect because it has a real woman's body, the positioning is great, the coloring is natural, and the make-up and face are beautiful. If I put a wig on it looks like a real person in my catalog."

He added that the price is right for the quality: he purchased his mannequin for just under $300, adding: "There are mannequins out there that run at around the same price, but not at this quality level. Many also run for at least $500 to $600." The mannequin also looks good in clothing, according to Rubbinaccio.

Rubbinaccio added that, in addition to having a variety of body types, Leg Avenue's Sexy Mannequin line includes mannequins who resemble Asian and African-American women, adding to its resemblance to "real women."
