With Equmen men's shapewear already on the market and Spanx claiming they have something "in the works" for men, shapewear seems to be moving beyond its female-only niche. Men's underwear brand 2(x)ist is jumping on the bandwagon with Form, a range of shaping bottoms for men.

Form will be available at retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue in a brief style retailing for $18 and a trunk style retailing for $24. According to 2(x)ist, Form's elastic band extends approximately 6 inches above the natural waistline.

"It targets an area men typically have trouble with and can whittle the waist two whole inches," Jason Scarlatti, creative director for the brand, said.

Form will reportedly hit stores this August.
