(Filed Under wholesale Dancewear News). In mid-June, sexy dancewear wholesaler Blue Orchid Exoticwear will add 75 new designs to its repertoire, including 25 to its Synful line for Curvy Girls running in sizes 10 through 14, and 50 styles to its Blue Orchid line, running in one-size (fits women’s sizes 2 through 8.)
Wholesale prices for all of Blue Orchid’s apparel run from $9 to $43, with the majority running in the $20 to $30.
Penny Dombrowski, owner of Blue Orchid Exoticwear, described the Synful line, which was first introduced in 2006, as “one of our most popular. It addresses the needs of full figured exotic dancers.”
New designs in both Synful and Blue Orchid will include gowns, short sets, skirt sets, rompers, hoodies, chaps, legging sets and dresses. The company will also add rhinestone appliqués to several styles.
Dombrowski described Blue Orchid Exoticwear’s customer base as boutique owners and vendors selling to women shopping for themselves and men shopping for their ladies aged 20 to 75-years-old. According to her, the company sets itself apart from the competition through its variety of sizes and design.
“We offer the largest selection of lycra prints & solids to our customers,” she said. “This means that Blue Orchid can provide a different variety of colors and styles in every order. We have many bright neons, animal prints, geometrics, and florals, as well as solids and metallics.”
In other news, Blue Orchid Exoticwear will debut its new catalog this September in time for the International Lingerie show. The company’s new photographer for the catalog will be Adam G., and new models Ashley Alexa, Fibilove and Bianca Holland.
Retailers carrying Blue Orchid’s dancewear include boutiques like Sensuous Kitty in Kansas City, Missouri, Felicity’s Fetiche in San Francisco, California and Exotic Boutique in Saint Paul, Minnesota, as well as vendors who sell directly to exotic dance clubs. The minimum order is $100.
