(Filed Under Fashion News). Eurovet’s Shanghai Mode Lingerie will be held October 19th through the 20th at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. For the tradeshow’s fifth edition, organizers are expecting to welcome 200 exhibitors representing approximately 15 countries, and 4,800 visitors from 60 countries.
A number of leading exhibitors have confirmed their presence, including Aubade, Chantelle, Passionata, Gerbe, Lise Charmel and Simone Perele, all of will unveil their sense of refinement and quality during a selective and chic catwalk show on the 19th.
The French Federation of Lingerie & Swimwear (Lingerie Française), an international promotion group for companies that produce articles of women’s lingerie and swimwear (especially bras, panties, bodies, garters, corsets, slips, nightwear, loungewear and swimwear) cited they will be traveling to attend the show, despite the tough economic climate.
According to a statement released by Shanghai Mode Lingerie, the Federation cited the following reasons for attending: “Eurovet’s expertise, the presence at Shanghai Mode Lingerie of benchmark exhibitors in all sectors, the show’s well-established reputation, its status as the only major focal point for intimates in this part of the world. Finally, the belief that, if the economy picks up in 2010, China, in particular, is a crucial market.”
Fashion features at this year’s show include a trends forum designed by specialists, offering visitors an overview of future lines and impressions, in addition to marketing and merchandising ideas and tools; themed meetings and debates; and a gala evening in the presence of VIPs, key buyers and the media, offering networking opportunities.
