The Center for Professional Studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in partnership with the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA), is hosting a reception and panel discussion June 18th, featuring prominent industry executives who will discuss “How to Make it in the Current Business of Fashion.”
The panel will discuss solving the needs of target consumers and strategies for a positive approach to the future and will answer questions during an open “Town Hall” forum.
Bill D’Arienzo, CEO of Apparel Analytics/WDA Brand Marketing Solutions, will moderate. Speakers include Frank Doroff, vice chairman and president of ready-to-wear and e-commerce at Bloomingdale’s, Christopher Daniels, president of Torrid/Hot Topic, Colleen Kelly, president of Tommy Hilfiger USA and Bud Knoheim, CEO at Nicole Miller.
The discussion will be held at FIT in the Katie Murphy Amphitheater from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
