(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Parah, an Italy-based beachwear, sleepwear and lingerie producer, will introduce its Spring 2010 underwear/pajama and beachwear collections at this September's Mode City Paris show.
Bras will run in sizes 32 to 52, B through E. Although the company declined to name a price for the collection due to differences in European and U.S. pricing, Parah lingerie retails from approximately $75 to $308, with most ranging from $85 to $130, at Nancy Meyer, a Seattle-based brick-and-mortar boutique and e-tailer.
Pieces included in the underwear/pajama collection are push-up, padded, balconette, and "comfort" bras, panties, g-strings, Brazilian briefs, tangas, nightdresses, kimonos, long-sleeves pajama sets, calf-length pajamas and shrugs. Fabrics include one-way stretch printed silk, lace, tulle, viscose jersey, modal, satin, micromodal and rib in shades of basic black and white, as well as vanilla, lagoon, crocus pink, lead and gray melange. The company described the collection as including "strategic transparencies and seductive cuts for a woman who loves to show her femininity."
The beachwear collection includes a triangle bikini with removable cups, stretch cups, push-ups, soft push-ups, underwire, halter underwire, bandeau, St. Tropez and one-piece underwire styles made from microfiber, stretch viscose, light microfiber, printed voile, crepe and silk fabrics. The company described the collection as including "new colors, innovative shapes and rich details" with "solid colors, enriched with special embroidery," as next year's motif, as well as "polyhedral patterns with three-dimensional effect on the fully evolved animalier style." Shades consist of black, white/black, iris, red, pink, green, blackberry, mustard, chestnut and fuchsia, among others.
The Parah brand can be found in 3,000 stores worldwide, including 19 monobrand stores throughout Italy. To reach the company, e-mail Alessandro.Cerulli@cerucom.It.
