(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). According to Julie Hunot, vice president of the lingerie division at Dreamgirl International, the company has recently launched its fall/holiday/Valentine's catalog featuring designs inspired by the runways in Paris and Milan.
With this catalog, Dreamgirl debuted over 80 new styles and 28 new plus styles to a collection of best-selling pieces for the season. In total, almost 200 styles are featured in the catalog.
Styles from Dreamgirl's Gold collection are included, which features packaged designs meant to be worn year-round as well as in-season; as well as the Red Diamond collection, the Gift Diamond collection and costumes. All of the styles in the Gift Diamond collection come with matching items, including feather ticklers, necklaces, purses, eye masks and even door signs.
"Dreamgirl has had tremendous worldwide success with the Halloween and Holiday-themed costumes, but the demand for more is always growing," said Lar Hovsepian, marketing manager at the company. "Retailers and consumers are looking for costumes for all of the holidays throughout the year and not just the obvious ones. [We] have responded to the increased demand by creating a special section in the catalog to accommodate the buyer searching for year-round costumes."
This section includes a newly-launched New Year's Eve costume, which comes with a 2010 and 2011 pin to be worn for consecutive years; a collection of Mardi Gras styles, Super Bowl costumes, Easter items, St. Patrick's Day dresses and classic Christmas outfits.
Of particular note is style 6208. Since it offers two costumes in one, it is relevant to today's price conscious consumer. The style is a reversible Cupid/Leprechaun stretch knit dress that comes with removable shoulder straps and tutu hem. It also comes with a white bow headband, wings, cupid's bow and arrow and a Leprechaun hat. This style wholesales for $26.96 and the suggested retail is approximately $56.
