Of the 40 original contestants, 12 were selected to become finalists. The winner, Sacha Seguna, was announced on October 10th on a Sunday morning television show that is broadcast throughout all three islands of Malta.

As the winner, Seguna was flown to Los Angeles, provided with accommodations on Sunset Boulevard, and was given a grand tour of Los Angeles. Seguna will be featured on the front cover of Forplay's catalog, volume 1 of 2009. She will also appear on pages throughout the catalog featuring Forplay's newest and best-selling products including the "Four-way dress." According to the company, the dress is a best-seller perhaps aided by the fact that it can be worn in 4 different ways to "suit your every need."

"We just finished the shoot last week," said Christian Savoie, EVP of worldwide operations, on November 19th. Continued Savoie: "And we took Sacha to all of the iconic places throughout L.A.: The Hollywood sign, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Venice Beach and the Santa Monica Pier."
