(Filed Under Fashion News). Paris' second addition of Mode City will take place from September 5th through 7th at Porte de Versailles.
Organized by Eurovet and co-located with Interfiliere, Mode City organizers reported that they hope to welcome approximately 25,000 visitors and 600 brands in the swimwear, lingerie, men's underwear, beach, accessories, ready-to-wear and well-being categories presenting summer 2010 collections. Eurovet expects 70 percent of visitors to be international. There were approximately 900 visitors at Mode City 2008 with a decline from 2007 in US visitors of 1 percent.
Exhibiting brands will include Chantelle, Empreinte, Juicy Couture, Banana Moon, Donna Karan New York, Max Mara, Simone Perele, Wacoal, Pluto, Huit and Walford, among others. The show costs 40 euros until September 1st and 60 euros on-site, equivalent to approximately $56 and $84 at the current exchange rate.
