(Filed Under wholesale Men's Underwear News). With two established men's brands, Joe Snyder and Gigo, Underwear Station is set to launch Freemen, a new men's brand which will have some 24 pieces as part of the collection.
Four of these pieces will be featured exclusively in the Undergear Spring 2009 catalog with the other 20 available to all other retailers. Undergear is a men's store based in Pennsylvania.
While many are struggling in the current U.S. economic situation, the same cannot be said for Underwear Station Inc., whose monthly sales are "300% higher than what they were 12 months ago," said Joel Gandara, the company's owner. "Sales are way up, it kind of defies logic."
The Freemen brand was created to target young, professional, sexy, and fashion conscious men. The collection will include "briefs, bikinis, short boxer briefs with nice prints, features and support," said Gandara. Although price points have not yet been finalized, Gandara states they will range from $15 to $20.
The company's products are available at a variety of stores, both retail and online. Some of these include, Undergear.com; Drake's, a store that targets gay men; and International Jock, a men's store based in Los Angeles.
