BODY Magazine has been notified that Curt Holtz, most recently president of Vanity Fair Brands, a brand under the Berskshire Hathaway family, is no longer with the company as of last Friday. In addition, several other important members of the team have left the company, and have been temporarily replaced by several lower level executives, who did not receive title changes. The CFO is still with the company, but will be gone as of October.

According to recent reports, 71 managers/supervisors will or already have lost their jobs, in addition to four employees in IT technical support, 27 in product support; 22 in clerical, 68 in product development and four in sales. The 196 layoffs were announced beginning June 1st and will extend through October 1st.

Holtz reportedly said in a letter that certain positions will be transferred to Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Vanity Fair Brands manufactures women's intimate apparel under brands including Vanity Fair, Lily of France, Vassaretté, Curvation, Bestform and Exquisite Form.
