Brazilian shapewear brand Plié, along with Beija-Flor, a company offering Brazilian-inspired jeans, will be providing a unique opportunity for buyers at the upcoming Atlanta Apparel Show. On August 22nd, the two companies will host "the shape event," which will feature three industry experts speaking about shopping for body types.
Elemar Pearce of Plié Shapewear in London will be in attendance to offer his expertise. He has appeared numerous times on QVC Europe, and is an expert on how and when to wear shapewear.
Also in attendance is Emilie Moca and her daughter of Beija-Flor. "Our goal for this is to reshape the way we look at body shape, fashion and retail," said Moca. "We want to give women the tools to know what to look for when they are shopping and therefore look and feel better in her clothes."
The discussion will be led by Mary Ann Sudnick, a certified image consultant specializing in wardrobe consultation, cosmetic artistry, proportional profiling, color analysis, personal shopping and personal style. She also operates a women's boutique in South Carolina called Mariani's, where she frequently holds similar events to help educate her customers.
The Atlanta Apparel show will be held August 20th through the 24th.
