(Filed Under Fashion News). West-coast sexy lingerie and novelty chain Castle Megastore has emerged from bankruptcy with Mark A. Franks, president and CEO, as its new owner. Under Franks, Castle Megastore Group, Inc. has taken ownership and will operate the retailer's 16 total stores out of the same corporate office in Tempe, Ariz. The company did not disclose the amount of the closing sales transaction.
Franks' plans for the company's reorganization include adding retail locations, and rolling out Castle Megastore's radio station and customer relationship management (CRM) technology. The radio station will feature the chain's special events, such as its Halloween fashion show and bridal shows, as well as performances by Jenna Jameson; Ron Jeremy; Jesse James; Belladonna; Stoya; and Tera Patrick, among others. The CRM software will analyze customer trends and send email blasts to shoppers, as well as exclusive discounts and benefits.
"Today marks a defining moment in the reinvention of Castle Megastore as a more customer-focused and leading adult retailer," Franks remarked. "This has been a challenging period, but now is the opportunity to take Castle Megastore to the next level and create a more focused and flexible brand."
Castle Megastore has stores in Alaska; Arizona; New Mexico; Oregon; and Washington. For further information, call (602) 286-9488.
