According to owner Randa Rose, after celebrating the business’ first anniversary, she knew she wanted to take measures to make the website more “man friendly” and more user friendly for the company, as well as for the general customer.

Aside from getting a whole new look and shopping cart with additional features, Rose has expanded the range of topics discussed on the blog. “We had a blog before, but only blogged about sales and lingerie-related topics,” she said. “The new blog is going to be more personalized and fun. We really want our customers to know who we are and know the faces behind our company. The blog will cover different events we attend — business and non-business related — as well as new lingerie items, sales, gift advice, dating advice, etc.”

The second main update was the addition of the “Man Friendly Search,” which was created to cater to the many loyal male clients Panties Required has, who have trouble deciding on what to buy for their significant others. “We hope this new feature will really help assist them and make them more confident while choosing a gift,” said Rose.

The search asks to choose the woman’s body type (voluptuous, buxom, petite, slender or small chest); her personality (sexy/flirt, sophisticated, innocent, romantic or casual/comfort); the occasion (birthday, anniversary, just because, engagement/honeymoon, I’m sorry or congratulations); and the price range ($1 to $50, $50 to $100, $100 to $200 or $200 ).
