(Filed Under Fashion News). Among those that have been recently killed in the financial capital of India, Mumbai, as a result of terrorist attacks were Loumia Hiridjee, 47, and her husband Mourad Amarsy, 49.
Hiridjee and her husband were the founders of French intimate apparel company Princesse Tam Tam, whose first collection was launched in 1985. According to a phone conversation between the company's president, Roland de Farcy, and the Associated Press, the husband and wife had been eating dinner at the Oberoi Hotel in Mumbai on November 26th when they were killed. According to a diplomatic source, the couple was killed during an exchange of gunfire.
On the company's website it states "Princesse Tam Tam shares the grief of their families and their relatives and thanks you for all your expressions of support and love."
Petit Vehicule, developers of Princesse Tam Tam, were purchased by Fast Retailing, one of Japan's leading clothing retail groups, in December 2005. Princesse Tam Tam operates in over forty countries selling a variety of lingerie, swimwear and homewear/streetwear.
