(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). La Bella Intimates, a new importer and distributor of lingerie, has introduced three European bra and panty brands from Latvia to the U.S. market. Santa La Bellman, owner of the company, is gearing the brands, titled Nikol Djumon, Roksa and La Bella Intimates, toward the speciality store market. This October, Nikol Djumon will be found in La-De-Da in Webster, Tex.; Bella Boutique in Winter Park, Fl.; Donna's Lingerie in Lake Charles, La; Magic Lady Lingerie in Brooklyn, NY; and Sophisticated Lady Boutique in Murphy, NC.

Running in sizes 32A to 42F and wholesaling in the range of $18 to $20 for panties and mid-to-high-$30s for bras, Nikol Djumon is “the star of the brands,” LaBellman said. “[It is] very original and unique. I have been impressed with the brand's growth in Europe [since its inception] in 2004. They use a lot of lace and lace over fabrics, and add matching ribbons.” Black and white shades and lace-floral designs are prominent throughout the designs.

Roksa wholesales for $18 to $22 for panties and low-to-mid $30s for bras, with sizes running from 32A to 40E. According to LaBellman, the brand specializes in making sexy, large-cup, small-band bras in addition to small sizes.

La Bella Intimates offers everyday bras to the market, LaBellman said. Sizes run from 32A through 42G at an approximate wholesale range of $14 to $30s. “[La Bella Intimates] has a more classic design; there is basic lace [as opposed to the flower lace seen in the other two brands]. The other brands are also much more sexy, while this is more everyday with an emphasis on quality.” She added that in Europe this brand is known as Shante, but she decided to change to name for US market.
