CurveNV Cites 13% Buyer Increase

(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Despite the recession, Curvexpo said that numbers at the recent installation of CurveNV were promising. According to the company, 2,553 buyers were in attendance at the show—which was held at Vegas' Venetian Hotel from Aug. 31st through Sept. 2nd—marking a 13 percent jump from the number of buyers at last Augusts' show.

Exhibitors included Wacoal; Fashion Forms; Chantelle; Affinitas; Le Mystere; Prima Donna; Natori; Carole Hochman; Hanky Panky; Cosabella; Marie Jo; and Sassybax, among others, and in the men's category, Hugo Boss; Diesel; Hanro; and Puma. In addition to displays of the latest trends, Concepts Paris conducted a trends seminar to give buyers a sneak peak into what customers will be purchasing in 2010. In a departure from intimates, Curvexpo organized a bath and body presentation to “[offer] insights into another growing product category.”
