This Halloween season, Ron Simpson, owner of two Adam & Eve franchise stores in St. Augustine and one in Jacksonville, Fl., has significantly expanded his costume selection, and to promote this, has added approximately six billboards of models clad in Delicious Sexywear costumes. The billboards, which went up in early September, can be seen in nearby locations on highway 1 and interstate 95.

General manager of the stores Melissa Lott said they chose Delicious Sexywear as the billboard brand because: “I thought the costumes are really ahead of the curve. The styles are unique and fresh, and I really enjoy their packaging.”

Simpson's franchises added Delicious Sexywear this year, along with costumes by Coquette; Fantasy by Funworld; Bewicked; and Seven 'til Midnight. The stores also expanded their Elegant Moments selection. According to Lott, while they did have some costume merchandise previously, it was nothing like these days. She reported that the stores now boast costume sections that take up their entire back-halves.

The stores decided to expand deeper into costumes to attract new customers in the doors as well as give their loyal clients more to choose from. “We are hearing from many other stores that Halloween is a great market. We already do very well around Christmas and Valentine's Day; why not grow bigger and better?” Lott said. “[With the billboards] we thought we should [also] take advantage of our location near the interstate.”
