The fashion show scheduled for June 16 at the Espacio Riesco is not a Victoria’s Secret show and is being cancelled. Unauthorized shows in other Latin American countries, includingParaguay, Colombia, Costa Rica and Argentina, are also being cancelled.
Productora Global, the local producer, was deceived by a firm in Mexico and led to believe that he purchased the rights to produce the show in Chile and other Latin American countries. Productora Global is cooperating with Victoria’s Secret, and the companies share the common concern for Chilean consumers who have also been misled. Productora Global is working to determine how to reimburse ticketholders for the full price paid for tickets.
Victoria’s Secret was never involved in these events. The official Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which is broadcast all over the world, is a premiere event that only occurs once a year. This year’s show will be held in New York City in November. Victoria’s Secret does not sell tickets to our invitation-only show.
Victoria’s Secret is committed to protecting our brand around the world and will fight any violations we find. We appreciate Productora Global, upon learning of this issue, working with us to protect the rights of our brand and Chilean consumers.
