In 2000, Helena Boas and Donella Tarantelli birthed Bodas, a high-quality line of everyday women's underwear in beautiful, but practical fabrics. By 2001, Bodas launched with a core cotton basics range that has since evolved introducing new fabrics to the women's lingerie collection, including nightwear, swimwear and babywear.

Because the Bodas mission has always been to offer innerwear which looks and feels like a luxury, it was only natural to launch a brick and mortar with the same ideals. Shortly thereafter, Bodas opened a boutique in Notting Hill offering pratical and affordable lingerie while striking a balance between fashion and tradition.

Most recently, Bodas opened a second boutique in Spitalfields, offering yet again, comfortable lingerie in only the best fabrics. Each Bodas range is designed around a special fabric and is available in a wide range of styles and sizes, so wearers can mix and match.

On average customers stop at the new 700 square foot boutique on a monthly basis, but ever so often customers stop by more regularly.

Although both retail stores only sell Bodas intimates, loungewear and swimwear, they ensure only the best fabrics of the best quality are used and that its pieces are easy to care for and long lasting. Fabrics include: smooth and sheer tactel, jabouley lace, cotton jersey and baby-fine cotton. And the best part-all of the fabrics are machine washable.

Currently, the most requested items are Bodas seamfree poudre mesh bra and cotton t-shirts-mainly because of Bodas response to customers wanting updated necklines and longer lengths.

High-end lingerie and beautiful fabrics are great features Bodas offers, but the company reports it sets its store apart with stellar customer service and excellent bra fitting.

Bodas currently distributes its line of intimates to Barneys USA, Henri Bendel USA, Holt Renfrew Canada, Lane Crawford Hong Kong, Le Bon Marche Paris, De Bijenkorf Holland and Harvey Nichols UK.
