Tavia: Sexy Secrets Lingerie Boutique is located in South Miami’s fashion district. It is an intimate, cozy, sweet-scented cotton-candy-colored boutique comprised of elegant vintage displays carrying the latest in fashionable sexy lingerie and indulgences. Decorated in a soft pink accent, Sexy Secrets brings a classic yet vintage feel. Whether you are looking to satisfy a mischievous flirtation or a romantic rendezvous, Sexy Secrets will help you pick out the right items. From the highest quality selection of traditional and romantic babydolls, corsets, bustiers and teddies to sexy lingerie sets or sexy panties and stockings, there is an extensive selection at affordable prices in all sizes. We also carry an array of hard to find undergarment accessories like adhesive tape, backless and multi-way bras, unique bra straps and body shapers. Separated by curtains, women can shop for indulgences, keeping Sexy Secrets a child-friendly environment. The personalized attention from the staff is first class. Ted: Who is your typical customer?

Tavia: Although we have several male regulars, our primary customer base is female. Being that our primary focus is lingerie and fashion styling, our area consists of anywhere from ages 15 to 65-plus. There is no age limit to a woman looking and feeling sexy!

Ted: What makes your store special?

Tavia: Simply stated, we’re your one-stop shop; not your typical bra and panty shop! We specialize in styling women of all shapes and sizes from head to toe, for all occasions. Our fun, frilly and one-of-a-kind outfits and accessories are second to none, plus free styling is included. We balance provocative and elegant, feminine and sensual. We have a passion for what looks good on our customers and we take pride in being on a first-name basis with them.

Ted: List some of the brands that are important to your store.

Tavia: Hanky Panky, Cosabella, Dreamgirl, Seven ’til Midnight, Leg Avenue and Honeydew, to name a few.

Ted: What styles are particularly popular among your customers?

Tavia: There’s always something new, fun and sexy happening in South Florida. That gives us the opportunity to continue being creative, keeping us on the front line with pieces you will never see elsewhere. Vintage burlesque and pin-up styles are now the hot trend. They come from a period when the female form was curvaceous and elegant. As the boudoir photography trend skyrockets, our lingerie trends are coat-tailing with classic vintage pearl designs, waist cinchers, gloves, stockings and hair accessories. Our collections are just that — colorful, frilly, fun and very seductive.

Ted: What price and size range do you carry?

Tavia: Our sizes range from petite to plus to accommodate all shapes. Our price range is very affordable, offering stockings from $5 to corsets at $50. You’re sure to walk out with the latest trends at the best prices, never substituting for quality.

Ted: What is your average customer size?

Tavia: In Miami, we have a very diverse demographic. Our ladies range from all sizes; we cater anywhere from petite to plus size.

Ted: How much does the average customer spend in your store?

Tavia: On the average, a customer might spend in the range of $100 to $120 with items starting at only $10! Being able to stock up on goodies is what our customers are all excited about. With our prices and amazing selection, you can’t just walk out with one set!

Ted: What other information would you like to share?

Tavia: Aside from hosting our annual Halloween Masquerade and various fashion shows throughout the year, we also host our monthly themed ladies-only happy hours which include pole dancing, belly dancing and lap dance classes, to mention just a few. Sexy Secrets has also introduced a live-action mannequin appearing only a few times a month. The live window model is a rush-hour treat for drivers making that trek home from work. The model can be seen wearing our latest fashions as she twirls and smiles from our full glass window storefront. In over two years that Sexy Secrets Lingerie Boutique has opened its doors for business, its proven success in Miami has just begun. In addition to all the local fun, we have attracted a recurrent tourist fan base, many international lingerie enthusiasts have made Sexy Secrets a must visit location in their travels to South Florida. We have established a professional and loyal clientele in the hip and chic area of South Miami.
