Lana: Ripplu Custom Fit Lingerie in New York City has garnered attention from several publications including Vogue, New York Magazine, Time Out New York and Fashion Magazine for its upscale, intimate ambiance, personalized attention and selection of superior quality lingerie. Bra fit specialists help customers select the perfect intimate apparel for their personal and physical needs. To complete the process of custom fitting every customer, our seamstress is available for complimentary alterations on the premises.
Ted: What makes your store special?
Lana: Our Manhattan boutique is conveniently located in the Flatiron district, near the N, R, 4 and 6 subway lines. Due to popular demand, we’ve recently opened our second location at the Sheraton La Guardia East Hotel in Flushing, Queens. Our friendly, professional bra fit specialists provide superior customer service and personalized attention. We carry a beautiful selection of elegant and functional intimate apparel. Women are encouraged to return periodically for follow up bra fittings and on-site alterations are available to ensure their lingerie continues to provide maximum support.
Ted: What brands are important to your store?
Lana: Bestselling brands include Chantelle, Le Mystere, Prima Donna, Fantasie, Mary Green, NuBra, Oh La La Cheri and signature brand Bradelis New York. Forever New Lingerie Detergent is also an important product in our stores.
Ted: Describe popular styles or trends in your store.
Lana: Spanx shapewear and full-figured styles are popular, in addition to NuBra and other fashion solutions. Bradelis New York and Chantelle are both popular for elegant and functional styles.
Ted: What is your size and price range?
Lana: We offer a variety of sizes ranging from 30A to 40H, and prices start at approximately $60 and go up to approximately $160.
Ted: What is your average customer size?
Lana: We cater to a solid number of women in the D, DD and larger sizes. Many of our customers are in the A and B range as well.
Ted: What does the average customer spend per visit to your store?
Lana: Approximately $200.
Ted: Describe your customer base.
Lana: Our target customer base is women in their mid-20s to mid-40s. Many are local professionals and students, but we have many women visit the store from out of town. Our customer appreciates the selection of sophisticated, sexy and functional intimate apparel items available at Ripplu as well as the level of service, from bra fittings to customized tailoring. Word of mouth has been the strongest form of advertisement at Ripplu, and the attentive and knowledgeable staff pride themselves on providing personable and professional service.
