Ted Vayos, BODY: Describe your store for our readers.

Rashad & Tiffany Wright: We are located in the up and coming Starland district, located near the downtown shopping district. We chose this area because of it’s culture, diversity, love for art, growth and support of local business. The area doesn’t have the best reputation but is making some very aggressive moves to revitalize. We are excited to be a part of the new growth. We hope that the city continues to shop and support local. We love catering to the local community as well as our tourists!

Ted: What makes your store special?

Rashad & Tiffany: We are the only locally owned lingerie boutique in Savannah, GA. We are extremely customer service oriented. We take great pride in giving each client the individualized attention she deserves. We understand that lingerie is an intimate type of clothing to shop for. You must feel comfortable with both the product and the shopping experience. We have you covered from personally fitting each client and completing a client profile on everyone. We keep client profiles on file so we are prepared when that special someone wants to spoil you. No guess work. We already know what you like and all of your sizes! We also offer Bridal Showers, Lingerie Showers, Bachlorette Parties, Pole Dancing Classes, Belly Dancing Classes and Boudoir Photography.

Ted: What do you look for in a brand?

Rashad & Tiffany: Blush- Beautiful designs and great prices. Va Bien- Love their corsets. Great for brides! Fit Fully Yours- b-j cups. Well designed, high quality bras for all sizes. Farr West- Loved their organic cottons and silks. They went out of business! Le Mystere- Beautiful pieces. Great brand recognition.

Ted: Describe the popular styles or trends in your store.

Rashad & Tiffany: I have found that corsets and teddies are most popular. In my opinion they are staple pieces that are flattering to any figure. We carry Bridal lingerie and undergarments/custom bra fittings/bra cup sizes B-J/xs-xxxl/corsets/chemise/teddies/rompers/robes/gowns/garter belts and accessories.


Ted: Describe your price points and size ranges.

Rashad & Tiffany: Best bang for your buck!! Designer couture lingerie at very affordable prices!

Ted: What is your typical or average customer size?

Rashad & Tiffany: After being in business for almost a year I still haven’t found that I have a size that is most popular. My clients range from 30B to 46J.

Ted: What does the average customer spend per visit?

Rashad & Tiffany: Between $75 and $150.

Ted: Describe your customer.

Rashad & Tiffany: The majority of my clients are females 25-40 years old. However I have lots of male clients in the same age range.

Ted: What has impacted your store the most over the past year?

Rashad & Tiffany: Hard work! Although we are the only locally owned lingerie boutique it seems we aren’t growing fast enough. Our locals haven’t been very supportive. I feel like Savannah, GA is a hard market. People are stuck in their ways and aren’t open minded. I wish they took more pride in their undergarments! We provide an experience that is positive and uplifting. It’s just as much about how our clients feel as what they buy! We really want to put spice back into relationships that have lost enthusiasm. We also want to empower women!!!!
