Special Report: Plus Has Become a Major Market Sector

As body sizes continue to increase, almost every apparel maker has felt the impact. The intimates market is no exception. Wholesalers across the board, from the low end to the high, from conservative to sexy, are making many of their products in larger sizes, are creating new items or collections for the plus market, are using new materials to handle the new challenges of larger sizes or are even introducing, separate, dedicated plus size catalogs. In this survey article, BODY Magazine discussed this, one of the most significant market trends, with a broad variety of intimates firms. — Nick Monjo

All new styles have size up to a “G” cup, and will be in both black and european nude colors and start shipping in July, 2012. We also added the navy blue color to the Kelly collection which has been one of the best selling basic collection of Parfait. Our Honey collection also receives great success especially the Molded Underwired Babydoll, which is well designed with very soft materials and a comfortable fit.
