According to Jonathan Tizabi, president of JT Intimates, the company offers bustiers “because our goal in the intimate apparel industry is to produce sexy styles that make the customer feel good and bustiers do that.
“The bustier has always been in demand. It is a timeless classic that was created before we were born and will probably be around after we are gone.”
The company carries bustiers geared toward the trendy, fashion-oriented woman in sizes 32A through 38DD. Tizabi described their recipe for success as “starting with a solid base, meaning a great body, and building on it, [and] accommodating the demand for trends at the time of creation.” He named fit as the most important of a bustier followed closely by design.
When asked if the economy has effected JT Intimates’ designing, Tizabi said: “Whether times are good or bad people buy intimate apparel. It’s all about the small things women can buy that can make them feel great.”
