Delicious Sexywear

According to Patty Gatto, the new national sales manager of Delicious Sexywear, a division of Rubie’s Costume Company, Inc. they have focused on producing costumes with better designs, fabrics and detailing than many seen on the market for the coming season.

The line includes over 40 costumes, including Playboy licensed costumes, which were not seen in the Delicious line last season when the brand launched. Up until now, Playboy licensed costumes have only been seen in Rubie’s adult lines. Also new for Delicious this year are packaged accessories “to round out the product offering.” These include hair clips, bows and jewelry.

“We want people to be able to mix and match, so we will have some accessories that are packaged separately from the costumes,” Gatto said. “[In general], we are producing costumes and accessories that are specifically for Delicious.”

New styles this year include the Sexy Detective and the Sexy Vampire, among others. Overall, Gatto described Delicious Sexywear as boasting its own unique flair. “[In 2009] we launched popular styles like the Butterfly, but with our own unique spin,” she said.

“As a rule, if we cannot make a costume unique, we will not produce it.”

She added that the 2010 line has “a little something for everyone within the 18 to 30-something-year-old range.”
