The company’s styles in the category run in sizes S through L and attract a customer base of women aged 21 to 40. The company’s best-selling style in the category is the Goddess Corset (style C-7101), which combines black floral prints, striped trims and a silk overlap-lacing front.
She reported success in the market. “Currently, corsets are doing well in the market for us. The younger generation has adapted a new style, turning corset pieces some would typically wear behind closed doors into party accessories, easily pairing them with jeans and underneath bomber jackets.”
She sees corsets and bustiers as trending toward leather, silk and velvet fabrications, with “bold and boisterous metal and lace embellishments […] being used to give [the pieces] more contoured feels,” also increasing. She sees “simplistic basic designs with no definition” as going out of style.
