According to Sandy Berman, vice president of sales for Bad Girlz, in order to succeed in the dancewear and clubwear markets today: “It is necessary to be very innovative: You have to make a product that draws attention, and that achieves high quality not only through the use of state-of-the-art fabric, but also through its construction.
“[In new trends] I see new fabrications coming into play, and I see corsets—which we are manufacturing heavily—becoming a prominent style in the club business. Our corsets are made out of a four-way stretch material so they are extremely comfortable to wear, and we double stitch the garment and double stitch the boning […] I think there are very few people out there who can make a corset properly. We are one of the few that can.”
He sees the basic clubwear outfit of a printed T-shirt with the clubs name and the plain short as passé these days. “People are looking for a more sophisticated look now. They don’t want to come across as cheesy or sleazy.”
However, he sees a form-fitting short as “a basic that will always be popular, since its very pleasing to the eye without being too risqué.”
Since entering the market eight years ago, Berman believes the exotic dancer has become “more sophisticated. She wants quality items, and is willing to spend a little more in order to achieve that.”
I want to receive more information from bad girlz
