Valens Lingerie, the distributor of Corin and other important lingerie brands, is holding prices steady and has added a new “full time marketing and sales staff person, Ava Reich,” according to Valens’ Tatyana Ponomareva.
“Ava is a University of Delaware May 2025 graduate with a BS in fashion merchandise. She has worked with Valens for the last two years during her summer and winter university breaks. Her duties include actively calling buyers and setting up video and face to face sales meetings.”
Ponomareva explained that “Corin has decided not to increase the price to retailers of its bras despite a variety of recent and upcoming cost hikes. These costs include an anticipated increase of 10% in duties and tariffs, on top of the previously existing 16.9% charges. In addition, during the last twelve months, Corin has seen an increase in the cost of bras components, shipping, labor, utilities, and insurance. But neither Corin or Valens will be passing these on to clients.”
She continued: “Valens Lingerie has increased its inventory of Corin bras in their Bryn Mawr warehouse by 50%. This assures that frames Virginia, Gulia and Sophia are available for client volume orders to leverage the savings driven by the Corin and Valens Lingerie partnership.” Contact: Thomas Dorsey, contact@ValensLingerie.com; (610) 400-8460.
