Dreamgirl ‘24-’25 FHV Collection
The Dreamgirl 2024-25 Fall, Holiday, and Valentine’s Collection (FHV) and catalog is here! And it includes this season’s key fashion trends as explained by a company spokesperson.
“This collection is all about sex appeal, glamour, tantalizing styles encompassing the seasons most sought after trends and details. As we designed these styles, we tracked the importance of these details in the market, these new interpretations of classics will be key. We narrowed it down to the four most important ingredients that our stores need that will generate buzz and get your customers’ attention.”
“Red Haute: Fiery red was one of the most dominant colors on the runways this season, showing up in the Fall/Winter collections of practically every designer. We obsessed over how Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, sent models out in lingerie inspired head-to-toe red looks. The color came in every shade from deep burgundy to bright Venetian red and was often paired with black or nude. Luxe textured fabrics dyed in bold reds included: satin, velvet, leather, tulle, and lace. Intimate apparel brands, Fleur du mal., Kiki de Montparnasse, and Maison Close used reds in sexy satin, sheer, and lace bikini sets with strappy details, perfect for the Holiday 2024/25 season. Dreamgirl embraced this red-on-red craze with our Ox Blood stretch lace and ultra nude mesh garter slip and G-string set (Style 13493). Or our 13416/X Backless satin robe with lace trim and dramatic sleeves or our 13518 Poinsettia scallop lace and ribbon bow garter slip and G-string set.”
“Pattern Play: The polka dot print, inspired by the 1950s era, was the most prevalent pattern shown on catwalks this season. This feminine trend was updated on the runways of Chanel, Maison Margiela, Miu Miu, Balmain, and Valentino. Polka dot patterns ranged from mini dot prints to over-sized embroidered circles, layers of sheer point d’esprit, and even dot patterns made up of flowers, metal grommets, or crystals. The palette stayed neutral, mostly black and white, nude, ivory, or pale blue. Innovative new polka dots are showing up in the lingerie collections of Eres and Le Petit Trou. Paco Rabanne and Maison Close used crystal and metal dot patterns on bras and boy short sets. Fleur du Mal has updated this feminine trend with oversized embroidered dots, as well as a mini dot printed on a cut-out re-embroidered flower, both on sexy balcony and bikini sets. Our stores will love how Dreamgirl interpreted this trend with our eyelash lace and flocked hearts and dots mesh babydoll with matching G-string (Style 13502/X) and Style 13490 our sequin embroidered teddy with velvet garter belt.”
“Sheer Chaos: The casual transparent layers, which were ubiquitous on Spring runways, have turned messy and chaotic for Fall. Sheer layers continue to be shown under coats and fur or layered over sweaters and slip dresses. Hosiery is on the rise, and designers styled sheer stockings on the runway to make them intentionally visible. Designers presented lingerie-inspired styles in a chaotic asymmetric mix of tulle and rouching in sheer tulle create surface interest in bras and bodysuits from lingerie designers such as Nensi Dojaka and Chantal Thomas. Agent Provocateur and Cosabella layered lace over sheer mesh. Gucci, La Perla, and Fleur du Mal used fishnet and diamonds patterns to create surface interest on sheer triangle bras, boy shorts, and thong styles. The color palette for this trend includes a mix of nudes and ballet pinks, black, and silver. Dreamgirl style 13501, I nude mesh stretch lace teddy encompasses all of these elements and our show stopping style 13489 a stretch mesh sheer gown with waist corset and matching g string.”
“Metal Muse: We were really inspired by how the catwalks sparkled this season with highly reflective metal, sequins, and crystals. Paco Rabanne sent their signature chain mail dresses down the runway, Miu Miu paired sweaters with sheer stockings and tiny sequin briefs, and Gucci adorned sheer dresses in open fishnet crystal designs. The neutral color palette includes silver and pale gold paired with black or nude. Silver and gold boy shorts and bras from Dolce & Gabbana are perfect for layering under this season’s sheer styles. Chain mail bra tops from Oséree are and PAROSH also meant-to-be-seen layering pieces. The trend was more subtle on an Aya Muse bra top with metal straps, and there was a hint of Y2K at Fleur du Mal on a black lace thong with crystal straps on the sides. This key winter trend will add sparkle and shine to intimate appearance for the Holiday 2024/25 season. We love the sparkle of our new rhinestone embellished, bias cut satin teddy style 13497.
We are so excited for our stores to get this line in. It is our sexiest collection yet, festive and we know stores and their costumers won’t be able to get enough of these memorable styles.”
