’Yandy Candy’ Is Store’s Own, New Rave Line




Yandy.com has borrowed ideas from the rave-themed lingerie and clubwear various firms have introduced in recent years and created its own Yandy Candy collection “inspired by trending neon colors and classic candy favorites” according to a company announcement. “The Yandy exclusive collection consists of 12 neon lingerie items and can only be purchased” at the retailer.


Retail prices for the new Yandy lingerie, which is much more about rave wear than candy, range from $6.95 for the nylon “Watermelon Wonder” fishnet chemise mini dress in neon pink (Sku: Y569) up to $13.95 for the “Rootin’ Tootin’ Rock Candy” fishnet chemise (Sku: Y558) in neon orange (basically a mesh mini dress with a multitude of cut outs).


Listed in its “Rave” department, Yandy continues to offer a large quantity of rave-themed lingerie and accessories from many companies including Leg Avenue, Espiral, BodyZone, Pink Lipstick (from International Intimates), J. Valentine and others. But it displays its Yandy Candy Collection at the top of the first page of listings.


To further the candy theme, Yandy allows purchasers to complete their “Yandy Candy purchase in style with [an] exclusive gift box...complete with pink Yandy tissue paper, pink Yandy ribbon and assorted, edible candy including a Ring Pop, Gummy Bears, candy necklace and candy bracelet.”


Founded in 2005, Yandy now claims it offers on its web store “more than 7,000 products” in the areas of lingerie, swimwear, apparel and costumes.
