2026 marks two important anniversaries for Polish underwear brand Corin: 30 years since the founding of the company itself, and 10 years since it partnered with U.S. distributor Valens Lingerie.
Launched as a small, family brand in 1996, “the sewing of the first bra, took several people 11 hours to create,” according to Tatyana Ponomareva of Valens Lingerie.“ This iconic model remains on display at the company’s headquarters to this day, a reminder of the brand’s artisanal roots. Over time, the family business has evolved into an international manufacturer of exclusive lingerie, present in Canada, the U.S., Australia, Germany, Italy, England, Japan, Spain, Chile, Iceland, Norway, South Africa, Greece, Benelux and many other countries. Corin collections are presented at trade fairs in Florence, Paris, and New York.”

“In 2025, Corin was chosen as the company to represented Poland at the World Expo 2025 in Japan EXPO in Osaka, being probably the only company of this profile in history presenting the lingerie industry and modern technologies in fashion. For years,” she continued, “ Corin has been proving that lingerie can be simultaneously beautiful, healthy, and technologically advanced. The company is one of the few in the world to have conducted extensive research on the impact of bras on women’s health. The Perfect Bra project, carried out in collaboration with engineers from the Lodz University of Technology and breast specialists, utilized thermal imaging cameras, advanced analyses, and computer simulations. The results of the research attracted the attention of the Discovery Channel, which broadcast a program about the process of creating the perfect bra in almost every country in the world.”
Corin continues to invest in modern production technologies such as CAD/CAM systems, ERP solutions, automatic cutters, and thermal embossing machines, with its production research “recognized by the Polish Society of Science and Technology.” At the same time “the brand actively supports educational and health-promoting activities, collaborating with the Healthy Bust Foundation, and is a co-organizer of the Corin Onko charity run, each edition of which supports people with breast and prostate cancer.”
“As it enters its fourth decade, Corin focuses on developing collections based on innovative materials, eco-friendly solutions, and personalization. The launch of the Virginia 3-d Spacer bra was an unquestionable success. Its design, refined down to the smallest detail, has won the praise of customers and experts, who have described it as “probably the best spacer bra in the world,”” explained Ponomareva.

Corin’s collaboration with Valens Lingerie began in 2016 and “has since evolved into a strong, results driven partnership focused on building the brand’s presence in the United States market. Over the years, both companies have worked systematically and consistently to expand Corin’s visibility, strengthen relationships with key retail partners and introduce American customers to the brand’s signature combination of innovation, comfort and craftsmanship. Thanks to Valens Lingerie’s deep industry experience and strategic approach to the U.S. boutique sector, Corin has been able to grow steadily and confidently, establishing itself as a trusted premium European lingerie brand. This long term cooperation continues to deliver measurable results and remains an important pillar of Corin’s international development.
This collaboration represents an important step in Corin’s broader export strategy, strengthening the brand’s presence and opening up new opportunities in one of the world’s most influential fashion markets. Corin’s 30 years are a story of passion, family values, and a constant pursuit of excellence. And the best chapters are still to come,” she concluded.
