Journelle To Open Upper East Side Store

Luxury lingerie retailer Journelle will be opening a fourth location in New York City’s affluent Upper East Side neighborhood.

The store will be located at 1266 3rd Ave. at the corner of 73rd St. and has a slated opening date of Nov. 16, 2011. A launch party will be held in conjunction with the grand opening.

Laura Maurer of Journelle told BODY the new boutique "will have the same luxurious feel" of the other locations and will carry high-end brands including Damaris, Fleur of Englands and La Perla as well as more moderately priced lines like Hanky Panky, Chantelle and Elle Macpherson Intimates. "We will strive to stay ahead of the curve, featuring the top new lingerie lines and relevant, fashion-forward styles and colors," Maurer said.

Journelle has two additional locations in New York City: a store at 125 Mercer St. in shopping mecca SoHo and a flagship location at E. 17th St. near Union Square. The retailer also has a boutique at 1109 Lincoln Rd. in Miami Beach, Fla.
