Colors Of CLO Intimo

CLO Intimo will release its FW2025 collection, “Seven Cabañas - Guachalito” in July. As always, the label received its inspiration from the unique attributes of designer Claudia Ochoa’s home country of Colombia. And this season the wild and extreme coastline that is wedged between an uninhabited rain forest and the Pacific Ocean, was the precise location.

“Some of the season’s styles and colors include our Fortuna lace in Lavender Fog, Nuqui Blue, Golden Jade and Sea Pink; Malla mesh in Peridot, Blue Jewel and Cordovan,” according to Ochoa, the founder, with husband Richard Paone: “Other colors in the collection include violet quartz, sand, poinciana, pastel turquoise, uva, cactus gold, orchid tint, cactus flower and blue light, in a variety of fabrics including double layer mesh, microfiber, pin striped mesh and plumetis.”

“All these are the colors and tones of Guachalito and its main town, Nuqui, situated on the extreme, wild and sparsely populated northern Pacific coast of Choco, Colombia. Protected by the Oriental mountains (Southern Rockys) and followed by a rain forest that ends at the ocean.The area is only accessible by small planes and long boat rides. Torrential daily rains make living a challenge, but being there one feels the freedom of being almost completely off the grid in paradise. The Gulf of Tribuga is a spawning ground for humpback whales and a place so spectacular, written description and even pictures don’t do it justice, but we gave it a try.
