N2N Bodywear Considers Sale

Andrew Makay, the designer and owner of N2N Bodywear, one of the oldest and most beloved “sexy” men’s underwear brands in the U.S. told BODY that after 29 years in business he is “ready to pass the torch,” to a new owner. 



Based in Los Angeles, and currently doing  all of its production with local contractors in that city, N2N offers an extensive collection of underwear, swimwear, body wear, loungewear, gymwear and erotic wear. It is sold primarily on the company’s website: n2nbodywear.com


Makay understood from the start that many men, just as women, want to look sexy and feel comfortable in their underwear and swimwear. The name stands for three words that describe what the apparel feels like: “next to nothing,” he explained. The designer began by making swimwear for himself, and the business grew from there as he added other categories. 


N2N reaches its customers directly through frequent email marketing campaigns, unlike many other DTC brands which rely on expensive and often unproductive online advertising.
